Lew has been flying since 1985. He is a graduate of Florida Institute of Technology and an honor graduate of Parris Island,SC with the United States Marine Corps.

Lew is a former Air Traffic Controller, chief flight instructor, part 121 and part 135 pilot. Lew has thousands of turboprop and turbojet hours and holds an ATP with Gulfstream and Falcon business jet type ratings. He is an active gold seal CFI, CFII and MEI. Lew when not flying tailwheel with Ruben can be found in the left seat of a Falcon 900c.
