Jon has a diverse background in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and international business spanning more than two and a half successful decades in industry. Most recently he worked on a major program developing advanced aircraft flight controls. However Jon's passion is flying, and he transitioned from the corporate world to become Tango Whiskey's full time instructor!

He took his first flying lesson at age 17 from a gravel airstrip, and was forever hooked. Jon further pursued his passion for aviation and teaching, and achieved his CFI in a tailwheel airplane. Jon also holds AGI and IGI ratings. He enjoys instructing in vintage and modern TAA airplanes, and has a strong passion for tailwheel and aerobatic flying. Jon has been flying with Tango Whiskey since its founding and loves sharing the excitement of aviation with others.
